Edisto Beach Loggerhead Turtle Project

To support the mission and volunteers of the Edisto Beach Loggerhead, the Junior Turtle Patrol has been launched. Visitors and residents are encouraged to join us in our efforts to make Edisto Beach the best destination it can be to continue to host the beloved Loggerhead Sea Turtle for future generations.The Edisto Beach Turtle Patrol invites guests and residents to become members of Junior Turtle Patrol. Simply commit to follow the guidelines of our pledge. If you would like a “thank you” sticker from us, complete your signed pledge and turn in at a designated location.

Junior Turtle patrol stickers are available at Island Bikes and Outfitters, 140 Jungle Road and the Edisto Surf Shop, 145 Jungle Road.

The Junior Turtle Patrol Pledge can be found on the front page of the Turtle Times. Copies of the Turtle Times are available at the restaurants at the Shops of Jungle Road. Crust Station Pizza, Tortuga’s Mexican Grill, The Marsh Moon Cafe, and 3 Gulls Creamery.

EBLTP is a registered 501(c)(3) in South Carolina and obtains annual authorization from the SC DNR to perform conservation activities.
